Happy Anniversary!

Adam and I celebrated our 9 year ann on August 5. he took me to this tiny cabin in Tellico Plains at Caney Creek Village, we went to Bald River Falls, and there is a beautiful bridge we pass that I love. We love the area and it is on the way to where we camp in Citigo Creek. I used Stampin Up stamps and card stock.

Here is the card

and here is the cabin we stayed in.

The covered bridge.

Playing around with acrylic stamps.

Stampin up stamps and acrylic stamps are very different. I love my stampin up stamps, but I have a few acrylic ones. I have tried everything to stamp with acrylice stamps but with the stampin up ink, I just could not get it to work. Finally I talked to my aunt Deb and she told me to get memento ink, and I found it on sale at Hobby Lobby half price. Well it did not work at first. I found somewhere to take a nail file and rub the top pf the stamp to make it not bead up. FINALLY! a card was made. It is not my best work at all, but this is what I made playing around with it. Here is my new jungle stamp set and the card I made.

It's baby shower time!

I wanted to make a few things for my friend who is having twin girls. I have been looking at these photo albums, waiting to get one and make something. I went very simple on this one.

Adam made a card!

Adam is so wonderful. He finally got my craft table up, and I got most of it organized. With all the craft stuff and all of Adam's Install Heroes stuff we were running out of room. Anyway, he was sitting in the office and I came in the room and he rolled his chair over to my table and said that I had enough room to have a guest crafter, so I made him the guest. I showed him how to use various Stampin Up items and we used the same stamp, but made two totally different cards. Here they are. Did he do a good job or what!

This one is Adam's

Card Time

I have not been in the crafty mood lately. I decided to sit down and try to get creative. These two cards I have made are just something I threw together. I like black and white and I was practicing embossing. here they are. Adam has been teaching Photoshop so I can show my cards better.
